Wow, serious catch up time

With everything going on with the Holidays and Cooper, I've fallen behind on Trapper's blog. Please don't tell him!! ;-)

My last post was on Week 8, so here's what's happened since:

Week 9: On Dec 6, Trapper's white cell count was really low--it was 2.4 and the low end of normal is 6.0. Therefore, he didn't get to have chemo. He was feeling really crumby this week--he wanted to bite Joker & Blaze's heads off just because they were breathing ;-)

Week 9 (take 2): On Dec 11, Trapper's white cells were almost back to normal (as was his attitude) so he got an Adriamycin treatment. This is the drug that made him so sick last time, so they lowered the dose a little and he did great! :)

Week 10: On Dec 18, Trapper had just a CBC. His white count was lower, but only 3.6, so not too bad. This week marks the halfway point in his treatments! Yay!! Because he's doing so well we will likely transition to every other week for treatments, which will extend the treatments, and hopefully the remission for longer. So proud of my boy!!

A few photos from the last few weeks:
Hee, hee. I was playing with the self-portrait mode on my new phone :)

He looks like the King of the Couch, doesn't he?

Aww, my little sweetie... He's not nearly as tough as he acts!

A boy and his toys

We had professional family photos taken, and I snuck Trapper in for a few. Wow--breathtaking, in my opinion!
He's so regal in this photo!

What a good, attentive boy! I love how you can see the
shaved spots from his chemo and he acts like, "What chemo?!"

Hee hee :)

Yep, that's Mom he's lookin' at!
My little buddy!

Excuse me, but I need this pillow to rest my head on....

The pups waiting to come inside--what good dogs!
