Trapper and I have been having a great time on our trip! We made it to Kansas and then on to Oklahoma yesterday.
Today was Day 1 of 3--we ran our warm-up run and our Time to Beat run. Trapper was pretty insecure during the warm-up run and didn't like to get too far away from me but 2 of his contacts were awesome. Plus he did a nice job on the technical jump sequence. It was definitely a good use of $5 to see how he was feeling. Our Time to Beat run was much better – I was extremely happy with how Trapper ran. We were very in sync. Trapper finished 13/35 in his class--pretty impressive considering there's only one dog older than him and that's only by 3 weeks!
Tomorrow is Jumpers with Weaves followed by Standard.
Unfortunately I'm having technical difficulties getting my pictures and video to upload so for now just text updates....
